Information We Collect

For all authenticated users:

• Email Address: Provided during Google authentication
• Google ID: Associated with your Google account for authentication purposes
• Subscription Information: Payment status, subscription type (monthly or yearly), Stripe customer ID, and billing cycle dates

For paid subscribers only:

• Session Data: Hostname, session start time, and session end time recorded while using the extension

Unpaid users do not have session data collected.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate you via Google Sign-In
• Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe
• Store and track session data associated with your account
• Provide and maintain the Service

Data Retention

• Session data (paid subscribers only) is retained indefinitely unless you request account deletion
• Subscription and authentication data is retained for the duration of your account
• Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently deleted at the end of your current billing cycle
• Unpaid users with no active session data will have their email and Google ID retained until account deletion is requested

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

Data Security

Your data is stored in a secured database. We do not use analytics, error tracking, or behavior logging tools.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Your account and data will be permanently deleted at the end of your current billing cycle.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing and using SiteBarrier ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

SiteBarrier is a Chrome extension that authenticates users via Google Sign-In. Session data (hostname, start time, end time) is collected and recorded only for users with active paid subscriptions. Unpaid users do not have session data collected.

3. User Accounts

• You must authenticate via Google Sign-In to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree not to share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

• SiteBarrier offers two subscription options: monthly and yearly recurring subscriptions
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service: https://stripe.com/legal
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing cycles

5. Data Collection and Usage

• We collect your email, Google ID, session data (hostname, start time, end time), and subscription information
• Session data is retained indefinitely unless you request account deletion
• We do not share your personal data with third parties beyond Google and Stripe

6. Account Deletion

• You can request account deletion at any time
• Upon deletion request, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted at the end of your current billing cycle
• No further charges will be applied after deletion is requested

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the extension
• Use the extension to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
• Circumvent payment requirements or access premium features without a valid subscription

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data or interruption of service
• Damages arising from your use of the Service
• Issues with third-party services (Google, Stripe)

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide notice of material changes when possible.

10. Termination

We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent activity.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court.
